Yep, that was me! My senior prom, May 2003. I remember it like it was yesterday. I spent the whole month trying to find the perfect outfit. The dress that would make me stand out from all the rest. Shopping for a dress seems like a fun experience, but unfortunately for someone who was 50 pounds overweight, it was a nightmare. Nothing fit. Nothing looked good. I left every store feeling overwhelmed and worthless. All my friends had found their dresses so quickly, but I was left looking at the '80s-style, picked-over, plus-size dresses that no 18-year-old would be caught dead in. So, as you can see by the picture, my options were scarce and my mother was left sewing a skirt to go with the only top I could find that could hide my oversized belly. And the whole night I felt like a beached whale next to my size-6 friends.

That night I convinced myself I needed a change. I remembered seeing the "Slim in 6 with Beachbody.com" infomercial. The Success Stories gave me hope. I thought, "If they can do it, why can't I?" So the very next day I picked up the phone and called. When it arrived I was so excited to get started. I popped in the Start It Up! tape and within days I could feel the results. My pants were fitting looser and I had more energy throughout the day. It was when I progressed to the Ramp It Up! tape that the weight really started to melt off. Even my friends and family were starting to see a change. I was noticeably happier and I knew my life was going in a better direction.

Even after losing 30 pounds, I felt like I could lose more. I changed my eating habits and worked out every day. Debbie gave me the courage I needed. I abandoned food as a comfort source and started believing I could make a change. To this day, I still feel the results of the program. I am 5'6" and weigh 130 pounds. I never thought I could fit into a size 4, but thanks to the program, I can. Everyone asked me how I did it and I tell them it was Slim in 6.

Slim in 6 is fun, challenging, and keeps me in shape. I will continue to use it and share my secret with others. Thank you so much!
